Accommodation in Phuket

Phuket offers a wide variety of accommodations, rates start at around 50 Baht for a bed in a dormitory, guesthouses from 250 Baht per night, up to 20,000 Baht and more per night for a luxury suite in a big 5 star hotel or a small boutique hotel.

The top end among the luxury resorts is Amanpuri and The Chedi on Panasea beach. The elegant thatched suite huts and exclusive setting will impress even the worldliest connoisseur. If you can afford it. Rates starts from 750 US$ up to 18000 US$/night for a 6 bedroom villa with ocean view.

Rates differ between the seasons and you will most probably get big discounts during the monsoon season (April-November).

It's impossible for us (or anyone else) to do a listing of all that's available, so we would like to provide selected friendly accommodation along with some useful links where you can look for (and book) suitable accommodation.

WiFi and Internet access

WiFi and Internet Connection is available in many hotels. Some hotels like Connect give this service for free while other charge 200 up to 800 THB per day

Gay accommodation

Be aware that not all hotels are gay friendly and they will charge extra if you want to have an overnight visitor.

If you want a genuinely gay holiday there is only one place to stay: Patong Beach. There are many Gay-owned Hotels and Guesthouses in the Paradise Complex area, which is also where you find the gay nightlife. Room rates here range from 200 to 18000 Baht/night.

Connect is located right in the heart of the Gay area of Patong Beach on Phuket Island. Over 20 Gay venues are just around the corner and a short 5 minutes walk takes you to the Beach. TRANSPORT
from airport is easy arranged with an airport taxi. Tell the driver to go to Patong, Paradise Complex (way in), Connect Guesthouse and you will be here after a 40 minutes drive at the fixed price of 550 THB. You can also use our airport pick up service.
FACILITIES
We offer you accommodation in 25 rooms at reasonable rates. All rooms have quiet air conditioning with temperature control, Queen size bed, cable TV, refrigerator, safe (big enough for your lap top PC) and private bath room with hot shower. For your convenience you have a electric kettle for coffee and tea. The restaurant is open from 10 AM and serve breakfast and full Thai/European meals until midnight. You will never be to late for your breakfast. IDD Telephone and Internet are available in all rooms. Nine computers with Internet access are available for customer use at a cost of 1 Baht/minute in our Netbar and in the restaurant. We have no restrictions on guests in the rooms, as long as they are 18 years of age or over.

If you stay outside Paradise Complex you will need transfer by taxi or tuk-tuk to come to the gay area in Paradise Complex. Night time the rates for transfer are higher than in day time. To get to other areas of Patong is usually 100 THB or more.
